A lively, all-action holiday Park stretching out behind dunes that offer direct access to miles of sandy beach. Presthaven Sands has everything, including three pools, two ShowBars and a fabulous central “action zone” with go karts and sports courts. Plus there’s plenty to explore out and about, from Conwy Castle to the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
Feel free to fill each day in just your own way. Every family is different of course, but a typical day might begin with a lazy lie in or a family Wake 'n' Shake session. It could be a morning in the new and impoved Heated Indoor & outdoor Pool Complexes with Flume, or trying your hand at some Roller Blading or Laser Combat.
And then...
Lunch out at a great little pub or pop into our Mash and Barrel: Lounge-Bar-Café. Afternoon try the Go Karts or fun in the Indoor Sports Drome, explore Snowdonia or enjoy a relaxing game of Mini Ten-Pin Bowling. Early evening enjoy a stroll on the sandy beach, a sunset bike ride or a barbecue. Then head off to the ShowBar for a drink, live music and dancing. So, whether it's out and about or staying on the Park, you're sure to have a great holiday at Presthaven Sands.
New for 2010, Presthaven Sands' indoor and outdoor pool complexes have been extensively enhanced to maximise your enjoyment of the Park's splash facilities.

From the Park there are four access points to the beach, where you can take a short walk over the sand dunes. You will then discover 7 miles of sandy beach which is ideal for sunbathing, building sandcastles or taking a leisurely stroll.
When the tide is out there is a large expanse of sand which is perfect for the children to play on safely. David Bellamy's Family Park Rangers may well be able to spot some of the interesting wildlife in the surrounding sand dunes, too.

This waterfall on the Afon Llugwy has become a familiar natural celebrity. Bodnant Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK, spanning some 80 acres and is situated above the River Conwy on ground sloping towards the west and looking across the valley towards the Snowdonia range. The garden has two parts. The upper garden around Bodnant Hall consists of the terraced gardens and informal lawns shaded by trees. The lower portion, known as the "Dell" is formed by the valley of the River Hiraethlyn and contains the Wild garden.
Chester is arguably the richest city in Britain for archaeological and architectural treasures preserved to this day from the time of the Roman occupation. Originally the fortress site of the 20th legion (Valeria Victrix) it was charged with suppressing the uprising of the army led by the warrior queen, Boadicea, the town being known then (c. AD70) as Deva, and soon became a major trading port. The most distinctive medieval feature of the city is The Rows. These are double-level walkways with a continuous line of balconies and with shops at street and first-floor levels. The Rows are unique and were certainly in existence in the 14th century.
The Museum with an attractive collection of original and reconstructed local buildings which is a registered Charity and accredited, is within easy reach of Presthaven, 20 minutes driving along the A548. The whole site is a fascinating insight into times past.
