The nearest beach is at the nearby resort of Filey. Largely underdeveloped, the beach offers perfect sand backed by low cliffs of boulder clay.

Just north of Blue Dolphin Holiday Park lies the famous seaside resort of Scarborough, the largest and best known of its kind on the Yorkshire coast.
