Parc Description

St. Avit Loisirs already has prestigious 5 red tents in the Michelin guide and is the first French campsite to obtain the internationally recognised ISO9000 award for quality. Its crowning glories are the beautiful, golden stone-built Périgordin buildings which house the reception, shop, bar and traditional ‘auberge’, with its choice of delicious regional specialties. There is an indoor tropical-style swimming pool, a kids play pool, water games, and a ‘lazy river’. The bar terrace overlooks the outdoor pool complex, where the entertainment including disco and karaoke nights happen. There’s also a new activity lake planned for mid June 2012 too! Surrounded by leafy woodland, this parc is mainly shaded and extremely spacious, with lovely views across the countryside. Our 22nd year at this parc.

Local Events

Local events include the Strawberry Festival in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne on 8th May; the Brocante Market for bric-a-brac in Bergerac held on the first Sunday of every month; the Cyrano's Table Gastronomic Festival in Bergerac from 13th to 16th July and the Festival des Jeaux du Theatre at Sarlat from 18th July to 5th August.

Getting There

With regional airports at Bergerac, Bordeaux, Limoges and Rodez fly drive is a good choice. Alternatively ferries to St Malo, Caen, Cherbourg or Calais are an option.
