La Pergola - Lac de Chalain, Jura

Parc Description

Situated alongside the turquoise-green waters of the Lac de Chalain and awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, this steeply terraced Castels parc has a friendly, family atmosphere with a range of well-maintained facilities. These include a superb pool complex with sunbathing area and a flower-decked bar/restaurant terrace. There’s also a lakeside beach where you can swim or canoe and the area is a walker’s paradise too, with rolling countryside and cascading waterfalls just waiting to be discovered. The Jura is a wonderful region for exploring: the Hérisson Waterfalls make for a spectacular day out, while the French Alps are also close by. Our 25th year at this parc.

Local Events

Lous-le-Saunier is the venue for spectacular firework displays on 11th and 28th July in honour of St.Desire. The town also holds free outdoor music concerts throughout the summer.

Getting There

For those wishing to fly drive there are airports at Lyon, Geneva and Strasbourg. Alternatively, the channel tunnel or ferries to Calais, Caen or Zeebrugge are an option for those wising to drive.
